Construction has begun on Abarca Oasis, the new headquarters for Abarca, a health-tech company with a hybrid workforce, developed in collaboration with Adorno Arquitectos in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The project is a retrofit of an existing multi-storey building, transforming it into a flexible workplace designed around wellbeing, collaboration, and the rhythms of a team that is not always in the same place at the same time. The design is organised as a set of environments that support focused work, team exchange, and informal everyday routines.

It is always a shift when a project leaves drawings and becomes real, noise, dust, and decisions on site. We are excited to see the building open up floor by floor, and grateful to the Abarca team for trusting the vision and backing the work from the start.
